Shirley is an Associate Attorney at Finkelstein & Fujii LLP, where her practice focuses on real estate, trusts & estates, and business law. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review and participated in the Moot Court program. Having earned a Business Law Certificate from UC Davis School of Law, she developed a strong foundation in various areas of business law, including mergers and acquisitions and securities regulation.
Shirley pursued her interest in law early in her academic career and received her B.A. in Criminology, Law & Society and Psychological Science from UC Irvine. During law school, she gained experience as a law clerk at The Burton Law Firm in Sacramento, working on business, trusts and estates, mergers, and tax matters. She also interned at the Asian Law Alliance in San Jose, assisting clients with immigration, housing, and family law issues. Shirley is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys learning about different cultures, which allows her to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
